For many of us, January is a time for reflection, goal setting and planning.
With 2020 underway, a priority for us in the first month of the year is conducting planning/performance reviews with our team.
It’s a rewarding exercise helping team members look forward and articulate their goals and aspirations for the six months to come (we run on a six-month program, supported by monthly mentoring).
While there are many career planning and performance review materials available, we use a STOP, START, MORE, LESS model with our team members. It’s a simple and highly effective framework to create focus and to align the development actions needed to take you towards your goals.
Put simply, for you to attain your goals / get what you want – what do you need to STOP, START, do MORE of, do LESS of?
You can access a copy of the model by entering your email below if you’d like to experiment with it when you’re next in planning mode – we hope you find it of value.
